Hessle Sinfonia is a thriving amateur orchestra based in Kingston upon Hull, in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
We give three public concerts each year, and having outgrown the confines of Hessle Town Hall we now give concerts at the main performance hall of Longcroft School and Performing Arts College, Beverley.
Our next concert is on 4th July , 2009 with a programme including Rachel Mathieson as soloist in Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.
Ticket prices are £6.00 for adults, with concessions £4.00, 11 to 19 year olds £2.00, and free to under-elevens. The concert starts at 7:30 pm.
Our aim is to provide good classical music in a relatively informal setting.
