Hessle Sinfonia is a thriving amateur orchestra based in Kingston upon Hull, in the East Riding of Yorkshire. We give three public concerts each year in the hall of Longcroft School and Performing Arts College, Beverley.
Our next concert is on July 3rd 2010 with a first half starting with Beethoven's Egmont overture followed by the welcome return of Rachel Mathieson playing Schumann's piano concerto number 3. After the interval will be Brahms's symphony number 2.
Ticket prices are £7.00 for adults, with concessions £5.00, 11 to 19 year olds £2.00, and free to under-elevens. The concert starts at 7:30 pm.
Our aim is to provide good classical music in a relatively informal setting.
